BACK PLATE
The BP-3 stainless back plate is made from type 304 stainless steel, which is high in tensile strength and is passivated for good corrosion resistance. It weighs 2.3kg (5lb).
The aluminium back plate BP-4 is made from type 6061aluminium for its strength to weight ratio. At 700g (1.54lb), this plate is ideal for warm water diving or travelling, when the lesser weight the better. |

These bands are made from 1.5mm thick, 50mm (2") wide, type 304 stainless steel for strength and corrosion resistance. All edges are deburred to minimise scarring of the tank’s finishing. They fit tanks with 184mm (7.25”) diameter. Fitting hardware include: a stainless steel bolt, wing nut, aircraft nut, split washer and 3 plain stainless steel washers. |
